Team 1

Project leader: Robert Book (cgi.com)

Team members: Philip Vendil, Linus Jönsson, Emil Fleron, Emelie Kjellson, Trang Hoang

Initial idea: There is a growing need among different public service entities / administrative authorities to exchange sensitive information, both from a content perspective as well as on an individual sender/receiver perspective and on an organizational level. The idea is to use the Blockchain to thoroughly control access to the information and also use it to in a trust worthy way show whom accessed what (like an archived log file). The idea is not to primary store the information in a blockchain, but to control access to it. By using the Blockchain as a “trust layer” all participants can trust the correctness of the log information as well as provide a more transparent information of access to the information. This type of approach would also be less cumbersome to use on a global scale than traditional way of solving this exchange.

Team 2

Initial idea: The gist of the idea is to document a contract of sorts between multiple healthcare actors when a patient is in need of coordination. For instance between us with our hospitals and the local governments throughout the region we cover.  The contract is standardized nationwide and our aim is to explore the possibilities of storing them in a blockchain.

Initial idea: Ett kösystem som skall användas inom den offentliga sektorn och ska utvecklas med hjälp av blockchain teknologi.  Motiveringen till utvecklandet av detta system är att öka säkerheten och förhindra fusk för den offentliga sektorns kö-hantering.

These are the criteria the jury will use for the evaluation of the proposals.

Level of innovation– How new and innovative is the solution in its given context

(Nytänkande – Hur nytänkande är lösningen i den kontext man verkar i)

Value for society– How pressing is the problem being targeted and how likely is it this solution will help solve it

(Samhällsnytta – Hur angeläget är problemet man angriper och hur stor är sannolikheten till att denna lösning kommer bidra väsentligt till att lösa problemet)

Sustainability – What is the chance of the solution being implemented, financed and lasting?

(Hållbarhet – Hur stor är chansen att idén genomförs, finansieras och fortlever på sikt?)

Deliverables

All the groups return two deliverables to the jury to evaluate.

1. Max 5 min presentation to the jury followed by clarifying questions over Skype. We start the presentations on the Friday the 25th at 11:00 and test the equipment from 10:30 on.
2. Groups to return their idea in writing (executive summary of 1-2 pages, Swedish or English). Executive summaries to be sent to juho.lindman@ait.gu.se latest 10:30 on Friday 25th of May. Summary should include a filled business model canvas as an appendix (we provide extra facilitation for this part). These materials will serve as extra material to help the jury determine the winner.
