SCDI has stepped in as partner in the Mistra BIOPath program. The idea is to align the financial system with biodiversity, engaging financial actors in the strive for increased biodiversity. Similar activities have been initiated in the past related to more general notions of sustainability, but this program is the first major research initiative to focus directly on biodiversity.
The program will run for four initial years and has a budget of around €10M, engaging both researchers and practitioners from various fields and professions into a transdisciplinary program intent on impact. For additional information, see here.
