Hannes is a doctoral student at the Department of Informatics, Umeå University. He is at the beginning of his academic career where his Ph.D. topic is Systematic Digital Service Innovation in the Public Sector for Sustainable Development. Hannes’s research is jointly funded by the Industrial Doctoral School for Research and Innovation (IDS) and by Umeå municipality, which serves as his research context.
Hannes is conducting and following the philosophy of engaged scholarship, where he plans to conduct action research to improve the digital innovation capabilities of Umeå and Swedish Municipalities. Hannes has a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science with an emphasis on IT environments and a master’s in IT management
