Johan Sandberg is Professor of Information Systems at the Swedish Center for Digital Innovation at the Department of Informatics, Umeå University. His research interests relate broadly to the transformative effects of digital innovation on organizing, with a particular emphasis on digital platforms and ecosystems. He serves on the Communications of the Association for Information Systems editorial board. His research has been accepted for publication in journals such as Business & Information Systems Engineering, European Journal of Innovation Management, Information Systems Journal, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, and MIS Quarterly.
