Daniel Rudmark, Postdoc at University of Gothenburg, and Senior Researcher at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, is doing research relating to data sharing and re-use within the transportation industry. His Ph.D. thesis used Action Design Research in collaboration with the Swedish Transport Administration to derive platform design principles for organizations seeking to transform unsanctioned third-party development into a sustainable development program. His research has been published in journals like Journal of the AIS, Information Polity and IEEE Software and conferences like ECIS, AMCIS, HICSS and DESRIST. Parallel to doing research he has served as the initiator and co-founder of ODIN (Open Mobility Data In the Nordics), been consulting for the World Bank on transport data sharing, and a co-designer for a new industry architecture for open public transport data in Sweden.
