Olgerta Tona is an associate senior lecturer at the department of Applied IT at the University of Gothenburg. She received her PhD in Information Systems from Lund University in 2017. Olgerta’s research focuses on the digitalization of personal data and the use of data analytics in organizations. The way digital technologies collect, process, and use personal data is of high importance to our society and way of living. Before the academic journey, Olgerta spent some years working at the telecommunication industry as a practitioner.

She has taught Business Intelligence, Human- Computer Interaction, and Decision Support Systems.
